What is a refurbished computer?
A refurbished computer is a computer that has been decommissioned by its original owner. It has then had the hard drive securely data wiped and has been stripped down and fully cleaned and then reassembled. During reassembly, new thermal paste is applied between the heat sink and processor, and a mixture of new and used components may be added to bring it up to the required specifications to run a new edition of Windows. This may include adding a graphics card or extra RAM. A brand new licence of Windows 7 or 8 is then pre-installed ready for use by the new owner.

What is your returns policy?
We are bound by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014. These are the replacement to the Distance Selling Regulations and came in to force on 13th June 2014.
These only apply to purchases made online, over the phone or in your own home. For purchases made on our premises, The Sale of Goods Act 1979 applies.
None of these regulations apply if we are selling an item that is clearly described as broken, faulty, for scrap or for spares and repair.
Customers have the right to inspect the goods and return them to us within 14 days after delivery. However, the goods MUST be unused by you. To be unused, that means the machine must not have been connected to the mains and turned on.
Should you decide not to keep the goods after delivery, the buyer will pay the cost of returning the goods to us, and must make sure that they are well packaged. We will not issue any refunds for goods damaged during return transit, and buyers are advised to use a service that gives them adequate insurance to cover this.
All of our machines have a warranty, and the length of this depends on the machine purchased. The length of the warranty will be clearly stated in any eBay listing, or will be given verbally AND in writing for customers dealing direct with us at the time of purchase.
We will cover the cost of returning the goods for any warranty claim.
If your item develops a fault WITHIN 30 days after purchase, we will offer you:
A full refund upon return of the goods.
or
A replacement machine. If we no longer have the exact machine in stock, we will offer you one of equal or better specification.
or
A repair at our cost.
If your item develops a fault AFTER 30 days we shall:
Repair your item
or
If the item is beyond repair, replace the machine. If we do not have the exact machine in stock, it will be replaced by a machine of equal or better specification, and of the same type IE: we will not supply you with a large tower if the original machine purchased was a small form desktop.
Please note that Consumer Contract Regulations only apply to private individuals and do not apply to businesses users and organisations.

HARDWARE
Our warranty covers any HARDWARE faults that may develop during normal use for the duration of the warranty. It does not cover accidental or deliberate damage, misuse, 'over-clocking', damage caused by the user or a third party adding their own parts, viruses, activators for counterfeit software, liquid ingress, or neglect, such as blocking any ventilation points, or allowing a build up of dust or fluff on heatsinks and coolers.

All of our machines are security marked with tamper proof stickers. The warranty will be voided if these stickers have been removed, tampered with or broken.
We accept that users may wish to add their own parts such as expansion cards, extra RAM and hard drives. We will not be held liable for any damage caused in the event of failure of these parts, nor do we guarantee compatibility of any part other than those the machines were originally shipped with from us.
Any new components fitted by us to your machine prior to dispatch will be covered for the duration of the warranty as stated on the manufacturers website. Some manufacturers may offer an extended warranty beyond 12 months, and this is usually subject to registration of the product on the manufacturers website. All documentation included with any new product we install in our machines will be included in the documentation pack enclosed with your machine.
We will not be held liable for any loss of data however so caused.
